This results in increased product performance and longer product life. The Flex-Hone is designed for a variety of automotive, hydraulic, pneumatic and industrial applications in sizes from 4mm- 36 in. Fine grit hones in 400, 600, and 800 grit are available for finer surface finishing tolerances to achieve finishes down to the single Ra level. Available in Silicon Carbide and Aluminum Oxide. A 2500 grit is also available in Diamond and CBN.

The SPTM EXJ is a great economical tool and the single thread design is ideal for keeping side-cutting pressure low. The non-crest cutting design allows maximum flexibility for plated and non-standard threads. SPTM EXJ tools will cut any size external thread of the pitch listed. It is precision ground for maximum concentricity and available with AlTiN coating for extended tool life.
